Frond is an online literary journal dedicated to publishing prose and prose poems from writers who identify as part of the LGBTQI2SA community.

Help Frond grow!

As we enter into the second half of our first year, Frond is looking for a volunteer social media coordinator to help us build our online presence and showcase our amazing authors. The volunteer would help to run our Instagram and Twitter accounts between our regularly scheduled posts to engage with other queer and/or literary content, share opportunities, boost Frond authors, and generally help us stay actively involved in the online queer and literary communities. This kind of engagement is incredibly important to us, but has proven to be a bit beyond our reach right now, and we would love a third volunteer to join our little team to make this possible.

In addition to helping us increase our online community engagement, the volunteer would have the opportunity to help us read through our second round of submissions, if that was of any interest to them! This is not required.

This volunteer should be able to commit about 30 - 60 minutes a week to Frond’s social media. To be extra clear, this is an unpaid, volunteer position. Experience with social media marketing is awesome but not necessary. Frond is a self-funded, volunteer driven thing. Send us an email to frondliterary@gmail.com by Friday, March 27 with a short blurb about what attracts you to this role, what you’d bring to Frond, and what queer-dedicated space means to you.

We are so thankful for any expressions of interest. All applicants will be responded to by April 15, 2020.

We love you!
